Fireman Tom, RKC: August 10 2006 

PR on 1 pood snatch, 100 reps in under 3 min 

Did this about a month ago and got 100 reps in 3:10. This time I did it in 2:53. Went 20 r, 20 l, 15 r, 15 l, 15 r, 15 l. Tried the same scheme with presses about 5 min later. Did 100 strict presses in 2:10. Tempo was good for first 10-15, then it slowed a bit. Maybe 15/15/15/15/10/10/10/10 would be quicker. Tom

you misinterpret BJ's tone. I believe that BJ was offering a legitimate compliment. He calculated the amount of work you did in the time posted, and thinks it is some good, hard work. You must agree or you likely would not have shared your efforts with the forum. I've met BJ several times and he strikes me as a very cordial, respectful and decent guy. He is a martial artist and a disciplined individual who I think hardly would wasted time instulting a respected member of this online community. Unless there have been some tensions between the two of you in the past that I am unaware of, I think you are way off the mark on your assessment of the spirit of BJ's post. There is one person who can clear this up: What say you BJ? Steve
